Yanko's Traveler loafer is a classic “apron loafer” made with the lightweight, airy traveler sole that has become so popular in recent years. This type of rubber sole was designed to provide comfort when traveling, but was so comfortable and durable that people wore them all the time. Comfort is the main reason why this type of sole has grown so much in popularity in recent years.
A nice advantage of the sole we use here is that it has a channel that allows for a Blake stitched construction, so the shoes have better durability and can be resoled. We are now releasing two new versions, both in suede from the renowned British tannery Charles F. Stead, one in medium brown reverse kudu suede and one in light brown Repello gum oil.
