Renia Syntic Total glue for leather and rubber
Renia Syntic Total is a glue that is excellent for repairing shoes and other leather products. A high-performance PU-based, toluene-free adhesive designed for leather, rubber and many plastic materials. It stays flexible after drying, making it ideal for footwear repairs. Therefore it's used by a lot of professional cobblers.
Unlike a super glue like Atomlim this dries slower, so you have more time to make sure you get things right. You can also dissolve it with acetone, meaning it can be good for example to attach heels or soles that you might want to remove later for a new heel or sole.
Syntic Total dries clear. While it works for most materials, it does not bond to EVA (a porous spongy rubber), without the use of a separate primer.
Tube of 90 mg. Read more below for instructions on how to use.
Here you'll find our other products for various shoe repairs, like repair patches in both textile and leather to fix holes and similar, leather and rubber repair pastes, shoe colouring products etc. To learn when shoes can be repaired, read this guide.

How to use
Make sure that the areas you are to bond are clean. If possible rug them up with a fine sandpaper and carefully remove all dust.
Apply a thin layer on both surfaces, and let it dry for about 5-10 minutes, until it appears less wet and sticky. Then press them together firmly. For denser materials like rubber you need more pressure, for more porous material like leather, less pressure.
Keep pressure for 1-2 minutes. You can handle the bonded parts relatively quickly after this, but note that it's not until after about 24 hours that the full strength has been reached.
Renia Syntic Total can be dissolved with acetone.
