How to use
Saphir Medaille d'Or Mirror Gloss is a wax polish that is specifically developed to easily build an amazing shine. It can be used as the sole wax, but it's recommended to first use Saphir Pate de Luxe which gives more care and is better for the base of the shine.
Use a polishing cloth and apply with light, quick circular movements a thin layer of wax, don't use too much, and every now and then you dip the cloth in water put small drips of water directly on the shoe, to reduce friction. It can be good to use a bit more water with Mirror Gloss compared to Pate de Luxe.
On the hard heel stiffener and especially on the toe you can build up a proper high shine with more thin layers of Mirror Gloss. A so-called spit-shine or bullet shine. Continue with small drips of water and thin layers of wax, pause regularly for 5-10 minutes and let the wax harden, and brush up the finish again, now ideally with a shoe brush with goat hair that doesn't scratch the shiny finish. Can also be used on the sole- and heel edge to achieve a shine on these.
