This sneaker is a reinterpretation of the iconic 70's model and offers the same functionality as the original at its first launch. A classic German Army Trainer but with a modern twist, featuring a versatile combination of dark brown suede and smooth calf leather in the same colour. Wear them with for example dark denim, chinos or corduroy. For optimum comfort, we've chosen a sole made from natural rubber, while the inside of the shoe is lined with natural-coloured vegetable-tanned leather for breathability.
Our premium collection of sneakers is produced in collaboration with a small Portuguese factory, where we have used our deep knowledge of footwear to ensure that every detail is of the highest quality, including the shoe's interior, which is often skimped on. This allows us to deliver shoes of great quality at a very favourable price.
Delivered with two pairs of laces, one pair in a colour matching the shoes, one pair in off-white.

- High quality chrome free full grain calf and premium calf suede uppers.
- Fully lined in vegetable tanned Italian leather which is kind to the foot and breathes well.
- A thicker more built-up and cushioned insole, covered with vegetable tanned leather.
- Comfortable padding along the opening and in the tongue.
- Comfortable gum rubber soles.
- Leather board heel stiffeners that moulds nicely to the foot, instead of plastic heel stiffeners which are by far the most common in sneakers.
- Midsole in more durable leather board (which is like a base inside the shoe under the loose insole), instead of being made of a felt cloth or cardboard as in almost all other sneakers.
- Shank in arch of the foot which gives the shoe comfortable stability in the area that is not supposed to bend.

Nowadays the cement used is strong and can often last long, but resoling the shoes is usually trickier. Often a cobbler only attach a new wear piece on top of the original outsole, to make the shoes last longer.
Basic shoe care:
- Avoid wearing the same pair two days in a row. Shoes need time to dry up, otherwise they will wear out faster.
- Brush / wipe off your sneakers after use to remove dirt that otherwise will increase wear and tear.
- Use shoe trees and a shoehorn to retain the shape of your shoes and make them last longer.
- Treat leather with shoe cream or a moisturising conditioner / suede and textiles with waterproofing spray
- Something that makes a big difference to the overall impression is a sole edge dye that restores the sole edge, here we have Tarrago Sneakers Total White for white or Total Black for black.
