Skolyx Premium sneaker in white leather

Our premium sneakers are perhaps the best bang-for-the-buck-sneakers you can get your hands on in the world. Since we launched them last year, they've received a huge amount of praise from our customers (see the reviews here on the site, for example), both for the comfort, the materials and the excellent build quality.

Here's the classic white version, which is made in a chrome free full grain calfskin and lined entirely in natural coloured vegetable tanned leather. When we started working with a, for us, new factory in Portugal, we have gone through all the parts of the shoes, and have achieved top class specifications yet keeping the price very competitive.

Below all the details of the shoes:
- High quality chrome free full grain calf leather uppers.
- Fully lined in Italian vegetable tanned leather which is kind to the foot and breathes well.
- A thick built-up and cushioned insole, covered with vegetable tanned leather.
- Comfortable padding along the opening and in the tongue.
- Durable and comfortable cup rubber soles.
- Leather board heel stiffeners that moulds nicely to the foot, instead of plastic heel stiffeners which are by far the most common in sneakers.
- Midsole (which is like a base inside the shoe under the removable insole) in more durable leather, instead of being made of a felt cloth or cardboard as in almost all other sneakers.
- Shank in arch of the foot which gives the shoe comfortable stability in the area that is not supposed to bend.
- Made with a sidewall stitched construction, which can be resoled by cobblers with the right equipment.

On a Sidewall stitched shoe one use so called cup soles, which the upper and lasting board / midsole is placed into, and then with a Sidewall sewing machine one stitch through the outsole into the inside of the upper to keep the sole in place. Can be resoled by a cobbler with the right equipment.
