The Norwegian brand Swims started with its very popular galoshes, but is now a full-scale clothing and footwear brand that has made a success with its combination of outdoor and urban, of function and design. That goes for this shoe too, which has the function to handle real outdoor exertions, but looks equally good on city streets and squares.

The boot is equipped with a thick rubber sole that insulates well, with a pattern that provide good grip without the risk och snow being packed between the nubs. Uppers in durable textile with rubber-reinforced toe and heel, with waterproof membrane that breathes, while being warm-lined to withstand also chilly winter days. The sole is very lightweight, making it an extremely pleasant boot to wear. Olive green with black and orange details.

Basic shoe care:
- Avoid wearing the same pair two days in a row. Shoes need time to dry up, otherwise they will wear out faster.
- Brush / wipe off your sneakers after use to remove dirt that otherwise will increase wear and tear.
- Use shoe trees and a shoehorn to retain the shape of your shoes and make them last longer.
- Treat leather with shoe cream or a moisturising conditioner / suede and textiles with waterproofing spray
- Something that makes a big difference to the overall impression is a sole edge dye that restores the sole edge, here we have Tarrago Sneakers Total White for white or Total Black for black.

When your shoes are really dirty, clean them with a good shoe cleaner, like Tarrago WASC! Sneakers Super Cleaner (always use shoe cream / conditioner on leather or waterproofing spray on suede after cleaning them).

The cemented construction is the most basic construction method for shoes. Here the upper together with midsole / lasting board (as is the case for all our Skolyx shoes made with this construction, where a proper real leather midsole is used) or in simpler cases a fabric sole base is attached to the outsole with only adhesives, no stitching.

Nowadays the cement used is strong and can often last long, but resoling the shoes is usually trickier. Often a cobbler only attach a new wear piece on top of the original outsole, to make the shoes last longer.
